Permit Information:

Permits are required for

Friends and Neighbors: you are the eyes on Baldwin Park!

If you see suspicious activity or illegal activity, call 911. Specifically, if you see someone sleeping in the park overnight, call 911. Do not use the word "homeless" in your description of the sleeper, since we don't advise interacting with sleepers in the middle of the night to ascertain their status.

During daytime hours, feel free to meet and educate your fellow park visitors about the rules in the park. The most common issues are off-leash dogs and folks walking through the raised planting beds. Point out the rules of the park (which are City rules as well) in a friendly manner. Peer pressure is the main way to keep the park clean, safe, and welcoming to all!
