The new mural by Phillip Adams for the Mural Arts program, as seen during daylight hours.

On a chilly Thursday night, the new mural at 417 North 20th Street was formally dedicated. Speakers included Mural Arts Program founder Jane Golden, State Representative Brian Sims, Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA) President Dennis Boylan, homeowners Barry and Susan, and the artist Phillip Adams.

The event was covered by the local ABC affiliate.

The neighborhood turned out to show their appreciation to all involved with the mural. In June the neighbors were invited to help paint the mural in Matthias Baldwin Park, as seen here. The mural now joins the two others in the Baldwin Park neighborhood, and pays tribute to the industries that dominated the neighborhood, as discussed here.
